London, United Kingdom, October 2005. We entered the global market by introducing our Try-and-Buy micropayment solution to handset manufacturers and game developers. Since then, we have secured the trust of international brands, such as Samsung, Gameloft, Namco, EA, Sega, Glu Mobile and SAP etc. Since our inception, we have delivered more than 1.5 billion games in 55 countries worldwide!
Following the success of the micropayment solution in the UK, we moved our HQ to Lucerne, Switzerland, under the new company name ‘Emoji Games’ in 2012 and expanded into the mobile advertising and social gaming market. Based on our solid technical background, we produced and launched a unique DIY gaming solution known as Branded Mini-Games ( www.brandedminigames.com ).
This service has grown to be Europe’s most well-known and #1 gamification service provider. This Game-as-a-Service has served more than 100 brands (mostly international brands such as BMW, Basler Insurance, Samsung, KFC and many others). Gamified marketing campaigns using Branded Mini Games increase daily active users, which in turn results in a greater ROI for ecommerce brands. In the meantime, we have been accredited by Facebook as a Facebook Approved Instant Game Developer.
Starting from 2022, we began upgrading the BMG Studio to offer Branded Mini-Games as a SaaS (Software as a Service) for brand spaces in C-Town. In April 2023, we launched Studio KR ( kr.brandmetaverse.ch) Through this studio, we provide land and brand shop buildings to brands in C-Town, and enable brands to showcase their Branded Mini-Games in showrooms.
Starting from July 2023, brands will be able to operate "Open Chat Room" based on the ChatGPT API through their studio. Through these brand metaverse services, brands can create their own customer communities.
In December 2023, we upgraded our existing Open Chat Room to a service called AI TALK by applying a technology known as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Through AI TALK, brands like online shopping malls can automatically respond to customer queries using the ChatGPT API, which is trained on pre-existing data. This integration of Branded Mini-Games and AI Talk enables brands to create their own unique communities.
